You may have read our recommendations in our blog post on ‘planning a day trip to the beach’, but there’s still so much more to do: explore the ocean waters by booking a day trip on a cruise! There are plenty of companies that offer various boat tours and day trips that are so incredible, it can be hard to know where to start when planning your itinerary. We’ve curated a list of various boat excursions all in one place, so you can spend less time planning and more time enjoying.


Site Seeing Dolphin Tours & Snorkeling



Grab your snorkel gear and explore under the sea! The clear blue waters provide the perfect atmosphere to site see ocean life in the Florida Keys Reef. From colorful fish on the coral barrier reef to stingrays gliding against the sand in the deep waters, theres so much to experience. Multiple companies offer similar packages, set at varying price points. Most rides include the snorkel gear, fins, buoyancy vests, safety instructions, and complimentary beverages on board (water, soda, wine, beer). Sunset Cruises



Sunset cruises in Key West are relatively similar, the best one to go with being whichever works for you schedule & budget. All include access to a complimentary cold beverages and wine/beer bar and front row seats to a stellar skyline show. All the sunset tours take a similar path, venturing out past Mallory Square and Historic Fort Zachary. Just as the sun sets below the horizon line, you may be able to witness the “green flash”, which is a phenomenon in this region or warm climate area.
